Marcia Philman graduated from Norfork High School in 1978, then joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1979. Spent 20 years in the military service and retired in January 2000. She became a Real Estate Broker in the State of North Carolina before returning to the State of Arkansas to be closer to family. She has been in the real estate business for about 12 years.
I became the Principal Broker of Southern Breeze Real Estate in December 2009, when Kim and Jim Koenen decided to open up their own company. We all take great pride in providing great service to our clients!

 Kim Koenen relocated to the Mountain Home area in 2005 with her husband, Jim, of 30 years and six of their eight children. Their oldest daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren are in Southern Wisconsin while their eldest son served 8 years in the Marine Corps serving 3 active tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Kim has 2 sons that have joined the Navy, one is a Navy Seal while the other is serving in the Middle East. Kim’s second oldest daughter is with the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department as a Road Deputy. One of her twins is the Mountain Home High School Senior Class President and both twins have been All-Star Cheerleaders, Academic Athletes and members of the honor society.
Kim has achieved a high level of success in real estate in a short time earning several local awards for sales and service in being voted “Best of Best Realtor” for the past 2 years. Kim currently works for providing great service and prides herself on being a selling agent, not just a listing agent.
Kim and her husband, Jim, have over 20 years' experience in running their own business and know how to get the job done. While Kim has a passion for horses, Jim enjoys many hours fishing on the many lakes and rivers. They are thrilled to have moved to a community that offers so many opportunities and a wholesome environment in which to raise their family and grandchildren.  Judy is originally from Monroe, Wisconsin, where she married Gary, her high school sweetheart. They have one daughter in Mesa, AZ, and two sons in Colorado. Judy was a licensed real estate broker in Wisconsin several years ago in the Milwaukee area. Her husband was a construction millwright and worked all around the country. They moved to Colorado. Judy went to work for Continental Airlines and retired from the airlines in January of 2005.
Judy and Gary moved to Washington State in the 80's and lived there until 2000 when Gary was injured at work and had to retire. They then moved to Arizona nearer their daughter and Judy's mother and stayed there until Judy retired in 2005 when they moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Gary enjoys fishing, hunting and the outdoors so Mountain Home was a perfect area to retire to. They are very active in their church, Redeemer Lutheran and have two dogs that are very spoiled. Judy and Gary enjoy their children and grandchildren and travel around the country visiting them.
Judy is a very warm and outgoing person and will listen to your needs and wants in a home, land or whatever you are looking for.  Having grown up as an Army "brat," and serving in the Army myself from 1967 - 1970, moving around was in my blood. My wife Sharon and I left the Chicago suburbs in 1972 and moved to Central Illinois, then Southeastern Idaho and finally Southern California before coming to Mountain Home six years ago. The hardest part about coming to Arkansas was leaving our son and his wife in California, but we haven't regretted it even once.
We came to Baxter county and bought the Shady Grove Store and ran it for almost three years. That is how we got to know the wonderful people who populate this area. What a way to make new friends, run a little country store. I liked it, but I just couldn't sit still, so I started working construction remodeling and/or building homes. My knowledge of homes was a perfect fit for Real Estate and my Customer Service experience goes right along with Southern Breeze Real Estate's goal to offer our clients the best service possible.
